CRAIG THOMAS
Fitness Training Tailored to the Individual
Instead of overlooking or dismissing any movement incongruities, Craig’s first priority is to find sources of asymmetry and rectify them. Every client will go through an orthopedic assessment to identify abbreviated range of motion in joints and sources of postural imbalances. Drawing on his knowledge of Active Release Technique (ART), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and fitness training from the Postural Restoration Institute, Craig helps clients build foundational strength that is functional, mobile and pain free.
As a licensed massage therapist, Craig can also offer a session of restorative bliss. Massage can be used to recover from a hard workout or just keep the body balanced. Through routine massage therapy sessions, Craig can manipulate trigger points, adhesions and other sources of pain to expedite recovery, de-stress from a difficult workout or just help clients feel rejuvenated by taking a break from life’s daily grind. And let’s be honest, few things are better than a good massage.
Craig still practices what he preaches and walks the walk every day. He still plays basketball and is constantly on the lookout for a pick-up game of soccer. Attending numerous seminars every year keeps Craig on the cutting edge of the current trends in exercise science and nutrition, which he bestows on his clients to achieve their optimal performance.
